About the Epson ColorWorks C6550A

The Epson ColorWorks C6550A is an 8-inch (203.2 mm) colour on-demand label printer with a built-in auto-cutter that cuts each label individually or in batches. Its PrecisionCore TFP printhead prints at up to 1200 x 1200 dpi on labels up to 211.9 mm wide, at up to 85 mm per second, with spot colour matching for brand colours.

Its UltraChrome DL pigment inks meet BS 5609 for GHS-compliant chemical drum labels, which often need the full 8-inch width. It takes roll and fanfold media on matte, synthetic, glossy and high-gloss stock, connects over USB and Gigabit Ethernet, and works with SAP and legacy systems through ZPL II commands.
