About the Datalogic Gryphon 4500 Fixed Series

The Datalogic Gryphon 4500 Fixed Series are scan modules made to be built into other equipment. The enclosed GFS4500 fixes into an enclosure from several sides; the bare GFE4500 board suits fully integrated, made-to-order designs. Both read 1D, 2D, postal, stacked and DotCode symbols, and codes on phone screens such as tickets, boarding passes and loyalty cards.

A 1 MP wide-angle imager with red or white illumination reads from almost touching distance, with 70 ips motion tolerance. The modules are IP54 sealed with a UV-protected, scratch-resistant window, survive 1.5 m drops, and offer USB, RS-232 and digital I/O, with automatic, software, external or manual triggering.
