The Unitech MS588 is an industrial fixed-mount 2D scanner small enough to fit into conveyors, test fixtures, kiosks and self-service stations. It reads low to high resolution barcodes, low-contrast prints and codes on reflective labels and phone or computer screens.
It connects over USB or RS232, and its digital I/O lets a PLC or sensor trigger scans for automated lines. It is IP53 rated, survives repeated 1.5 m drops to concrete and has full ESD protection, including the cable.
