About the Datalogic PowerScan PBT9100 (1D) Wireless

The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9100 is a rugged cordless scanner for 1D barcodes in factories, warehouses and distribution centres. Its linear imager projects a green, laser-like scan line and reads codes down to 2.5 mil, from 2 cm to 2.3 m on large Code 39 labels.

It connects over Bluetooth up to 100 m in open air to its base station or any Bluetooth device, with up to 7 scanners on one base. It is sealed to IP65, survives 50 drops from 2 m onto concrete and works from -20 to 50 °C. The lithium-ion battery swaps in about three seconds, a tether hook keeps it at hand, and it can be mounted on a forklift. Base stations offer RS-232, USB, keyboard wedge and Ethernet. A STAR Cordless System version (PM9100) is also available, with display and keypad options.
