About the Datalogic PowerScan PBT9600 (2D) Wireless

The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9600 is an ultra-rugged cordless area imager for 1D, 2D, postal and stacked codes on the shop floor and in the warehouse. It comes with Standard Range optics for everyday reading or High Performance optics for high-density codes and longer reach, up to 2.4 m on large Code 128 labels, with Digimarc decoding on HP models.

Bluetooth 5.0 connects it to its base or any Bluetooth device up to 100 m away. It charges inductively in the BC9600 base, so there are no contacts or pins to bend, break or clean, and gives about 80,000 reads per charge. It is sealed to IP65 and IP67, survives 50 drops from 2.5 m and a 10-million-press trigger, and its balanced shape reduces operator strain. The modular base takes RS-232, USB, Ethernet and industrial protocol plug-ins. A STAR Cordless System version (PM9600) adds an OLED display and keypad options.
