About the Datalogic PowerScan PBT9500-DPM EVO (2D) Wireless

The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9500-DPM EVO is a rugged cordless area imager built to read direct part marking (DPM): codes etched by laser or chemicals, printed by ink jet, or dot peened (Data Matrix) straight onto metal, plastic and other parts. It reads typical DPM codes from contact to about 4 or 5 cm, and very small, high-resolution printed codes up to 15 cm, along with standard 1D, 2D, postal and stacked codes on labels.

A soft pulsed white illumination is gentle on the eyes, an intuitive aimer gives high first-pass read rates, and Motionix switches modes as the operator moves. It connects over Bluetooth for more than 90 m, is sealed to IP65 and survives 50 drops from 2 m. A STAR Cordless System version (PM9500-DPM) is also available.
